Pro Tips

Here are a few tips to help make sure this recipe turns out perfectly for you every time that you make it.

  • Make sure that the water you use for the yeast is warm and not too hot. If the water is too hot, it will kill the yeast. Aim for water that is about 100 degrees F.
  • Don’t forget to oil the bowl as this prevents the dough from sticking to the bowl.
  • For extra flavor you could top these with more parmesan cheese and fresh parsley when you remove them from the air fryer.
  • Instead of regular butter, you could use garlic butter for more flavor.
  • Serve them with your favorite dips like marinara sauce, or ranch dressing.
  • Add a little protein by topping with pepperoni before you air fry for the second time.
  • Make sure that your pan fits into your air fryer basket before you start to make this recipe.
