Isn't it great when easy and delicious come together? -- Well, easy and delicious are certainly two words to describe these Pineapple Wine Coolers. In fact, they describe them pretty perfectly.

With just three simple ingredients, a Pineapple Wine Cooler comes together in all of about 2 minutes flat, which I would say is actually a generous time estimate. Simply grab some white wine, pineapple juice, and Sprite or 7-Up soda, pour them together in a wine glass, and give a little stir. -- That's truly all it takes to whip these beauties up.

As for how they taste, Pineapple Wine Coolers are simply loaded with refreshing pineapple flavor. They definitely deliver up flavor that tastes like it took much more time and effort to make than it did!

These easy coolers are simply loaded with refreshing pineapple flavor. Don't you just love it when easy and delicious come together?

When it comes to choosing the wine for the coolers' base, we recommend choosing a mild-flavored white wine that's middle-of-the-road on sweetness. We make ours with Pinot Grigio, which is dry but not too dry, and has a nice subtle crisp flavor.

That being said, if you'd like yours a bit sweeter, try a Riesling or even a Moscato. Sauvignon Blanc can work as well if you'd like a drier cooler, but can have a little a "sharp" bite in the background. Steer away from stronger-flavored wines, such as an oaky Chardonnay for example, as those strong flavors can overshadow (and not mix well with) the cocktail's pineapple.

What's to Love About This Recipe?

  • Sprite or 7-Up - Lemon-lime soda brings carbonation bubbles and lightness to the drink.

How to Make a Pineapple Wine Cooler:

It's super easy to make a Pineapple Wine Cooler. -- In fact, there's truly nothing to it!

To get one started, simply combine some chilled Pinot Grigio (or other white wine of your choice) and pineapple juice in a wine glass. Then top the glass off with some 7-Up or Sprite to add in some bubbles and lighten the flavor of the drink.

Finish the glass off with a pineapple wedge garnish, and you're good to go!

If you'd like to prepare a larger batch of Pineapple Wine Coolers and make them in advance, that's no problem. Simply mix together the wine and pineapple juice and refrigerate it until it's time to enjoy. Then pour the mixture into individual glasses and top each off with soda at the time of serving.

You want to wait to add that soda so the carbonation bubbles are nice and fresh when the cocktail is served.
