Apple Cinnamon Stovetop Oatmeal

You have to try this heart warming Apple Cinnamon Stovetop Oatmeal. It’s the perfect fall breakfast recipe, but you will also be delighted to enjoy it all seasons. Moreover it’s easy to make and ready in less than 10 minutes.

You can use any variety of apple. It can be any type, red or green, choose one that you like raw. I don’t peel the apple, as the most vitamins are in the peel. But if it bothers you, just remove it. Measure the cinnamon with your heart and you’ll get the best taste.

The maple syrup is the perfect fit for this recipe, but any type of sweetener works fine ( agave syrup, white sugar, coconut sugar, etc.)

I used rolled oats for this as they cook quicker. You can use other types of oats, like fine oats, instant oats or steel cut oats. But if you are using the steel cut oats, the total time will increase as they usually need 20-25 minutes to cook. You can also use fine oats or instant oats and they will be ready in less than 5 minutes.

Go crazy with toppings. Mine were more cinnamon, almond chips and whole almonds, more maple syrup and expanded quinoa.
