Vanilla Almond Energy Balls

After making over 15 energy ball recipes, we realized we didn’t have any that used chia seeds. That’s why for today’s recipe we have these delicious Vanilla Almond Energy Balls. Chia seeds are super healthy and can be very useful especially if you add to much liquid to your energy balls. They’ll absorb all of it and the balls will taste amazing.

Chia seeds, aside from being healthful, will give the balls a touch of crunch. In our opinion these are the most flavor rich energy bites we’ve ever made. They are super simple to make, tastes amazing, and can last you for days in the fridge!
Almond Energy Balls
As a snack, energy balls are fantastic. To avoid eating all those harmful sugary snacks out there, we always have some of these balls on hand in the fridge. This recipe is 100% vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free.

Vanilla Energy Balls

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup (90 g) rolled oats
  • 1 cup (96 g) almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1/4 (60 g) cup maple syrup
  • 4 tablespoons hazelnut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla paste

INSTRUCTIONS

  • In a large bowl add all dry ingredients and stir until combined. Then add hazelnut butter, vanilla paste, and maple syrup and using a spatula stir everything until dough is formed. Dough will be wet, but don’t worry chia seeds will absorb the liquids.  
  • Form mixture into balls and repeat until no dough remains. Let them cool for at least 30 minutes in the fridge. This is very important mostly because of the chia seeds.
  • Serve and enjoy Vanilla Almond Energy Balls the way you like!
