How to Make Instant Pot Baked Potatoes

There are only six steps to making these baked potatoes in the pressure cooker. While this does take some time, you can start the Instant Pot and then walk away and let it do all the work!

Step 1: Prep the Instant Pot

Add 1 cup of water to the bottom of your pot. Place the trivet inside.

Step 2: Clean the potatoes

Clean each potato from dirt. Lightly scrub with a scrub brush and warm water.

Step 4: Cook the potatoes

Set your Instant Pot to High Pressure for 40 minutes.

Step 5: Allow the Instant Pot to naturally release

Allow your potatoes to naturally release for about 15 minutes before manually releasing and bringing the valve toward you.

Step 6: Remove the potatoes

Remove each potato with tongs since they are hot. Top with the toppings of your choice.
