Vegan Mac and Cheese Pasta

Mac and Cheese Pasta is one of the most popular pasta dishes in the world. But what would all the vegan’s say, can they have alternative for this amazing meal? Definitely YES! If you remember, last November, we published stunning Vegan Cheese Sauce Recipe and ever since then we’ve been using it in so many recipes. But did you know that it can be a perfect substitute for a real cheese and the best solution for vegan version of Mac and Cheese Pasta?

If you haven’t tried already, we got you covered. This is super easy recipe, one of those you can prepare in less then 30 minutes. All you have to do is to cook some pasta, add cheese sauce, and that’s it! To have even more intensive cheese flavor sprinkle some nutritional yeast on top or add vegan parmesan cheese.

Vegan Mac & Cheese Recipe
Prep time: 10 min   Cook time: 10 min   Total: 20 min   Servings: 2




 

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups (approx.. 210 g) dried pasta (of your choice)
  • 3 tablespoons vegan cheese sauce
  • 1 teaspoon nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon chopped parsley

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions. When done drain and return to the pot.
  • Add vegan cheese sauce and stir well until pasta is fully coated. 
  • Serve in a bowl or a shallow plate. Sprinkle with nutritional yeast, for some extra cheesy flavor, and add chopped parsly.
