Funfetti Dip

This dessert is seriously right up my alley. It tastes like cake, but doesn’t require me to have any baking skills, and it really tastes like a copycat Dunkaroo dip recipe. Does that bring back all the best childhood memories for anyone other than me? All the dipping foods were my favorite then, and the homemade versions are my favorite now.

I’ve partnered up with Klarbrunn to bring you this super simple and easy sweet dip recipe. It pairs so incredibly well with an ice cold can of their Black Cherry Sparkling Water. It’s like all the sweet fruity flavors at once without being overwhelming sweet. You can find out where to buy Klarbrunn here.

How To Make Funfetti Dip

It’s so easy! All you have to do is mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl, refrigerate it for an hour, and then mix in additional sprinkles. The only key is to use refrigerated Cool Whip instead of frozen Cool Whip. It will still work if you use frozen, it will just require a lot more mixing.

How Much Cool Whip Should I Use?

That’s totally up to you! I like a really whipped texture, similar to the texture of a whipped topping, so I use 4 cups. If you prefer a thicker texture, closer to frosting or Dunkaroo dip, you’ll want to use less.

If you’re not sure how much you want, start with 1 cup, and then add more as you mix it until you get the consistency you like.

Optional Alterations

This recipe is surprisingly versatile, so feel free to play around with it.

  • You can use less Cool Whip.
  • Try using half Cool Whip and half cream cheese.
  • Swap the yogurt for pudding.
  • Use marshmallow fluff instead of Cool Whip.
  • Add in extra sprinkles (because rainbow sprinkles make everything so pretty).

What To Serve Dunkaroo Dip With

My favorite things to serve this with are animal crackers, teddy grahams, nilla wafers, and fruit (especially strawberries).

How To Make Cake Dough Edible

To make this edible, it’s important to toast the flour in the oven for 5 – 10 minutes at 350 F (176 C) first. Raw flour shouldn’t be eaten without toasting it first.
