Nut Free Granola

The best healthy nut free granola you want to have every morning!! This recipe requires just a handful of ingredients and takes less than an hour to make. Combination of granola with vanilla flavored soy yogurt is perfect as breakfast especially on spring or summer mornings!!

What you need to make Nut Free Granola..?

As said you need just a handful of ingredients, I used sunflower seeds for my granola as they are widely available and inexpensive too, try using other seeds of your choice if preferred. But just sunflower seeds works great too.

How to make Nut Free Granola..?

  • In a wide mouthed mixing bowl, add rolled oats, sunflower seeds, salt and give a quick mix.
  • Add olive oil, maple syrup and mix till all dry ingredients are covered in wet.
  • Transfer the mix evenly to parchment lined baking tray and bake at 320F for 10 mins.
  • Remove from oven, give a mix carefully with spatula and bake again at 320F for another 10-13 mins. Be careful not to burn your granola.
  • Let cool before serve. Serve as topping on plant-based yogurt like soy or on oatmeal or on smoothies!!

  • 1 1/2 cups Rolled Oats
  • 1/4 cup Sunflower Seeds hulled
  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract optional

Instructions

Notes

Storage: can store in an air-tight container on counter top for up to a week and in refrigerator for up to 3-4 weeks.
