INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup (about 100 g) raw cacao butter (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup (50 g) hazelnut butter
  • 1/3 cup (about 80 g) cream from canned coconut milk
  • 2 teaspoons Matcha powder
  • 1/3 cup (about 80 ml) maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup (about 50 g) roasted hazelnuts

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Roughly chop cacao butter. This way it will melt faster and no chunks will be formed.
  • To get the cream from the coconut milk, the best way to do that is to put the can of coconut milk in a fridge for at least 1 hour. This will make the milk fat separate and solidify on top and it can be easily removed and used in this recipe.
  • Add cacao butter and coconut cream in a glass bowl and melt over a double boiler for a couple of minutes. Stir from time to time. When melted remove from the heat and add hazelnut butter, maple syrup, and Matcha powder. Stir well until evenly combined.
  • Pour the mixture on a parchment paper-lined container or baking dish. Add roasted hazelnuts. Refrigerate least 3 hours or until firm.
  • When the fudge is firm enough cut it into cubes or bars. Keep in refrigerator.
  • Serve and enjoy your Matcha and Hazelnut Fudge.
