Pizza stuffed meatloaf is a mixture of minced chicken, egg and pizza seasonings stuffed with mozzarella cheese and Italian spiced chicken sausage. It just taste like pizza with the gooey cheese oozing out of the meatloaf and the lovely aroma and flavour of the seasonings. I beat this sure gonna be a hit with your family as much as it is with mine.

This is one dish which I make once in a while whenever a day calls for a special occasions, get togethers or parties. And it is superhit amongst my friends and families. This pizza stuffed meatloaf is loved by my family, it is also a kid-friendly and my son loves it. Since it has all the flavours and aroma of a pizza and pizza being his favourite he loves to have this.

It is a scrumptious and a filling dish. Delicious and easy to make. It is prepared with minced meat, egg, pizza seasonings, spices and stuffed with mozzarella cheese and chicken sausage. Just mix the meat with the seasonings and spices into a mixture. The mixture is then shaped into a loaf shape stuffed with mozzarella cheese and chicken sausage, cover it up with the meat mixture and top with chicken sausage and bake to perfection.

This pizza stuffed meatloaf is super simple and fun to make. You can involve your kids too while making this meatloaf and enjoy the fun.   • Preparation time : 10 mins
  • Cooking Time : 35-40 mins
  • Serves : 7-8

Ingredients:

  • 500 gms Minced Chicken
  • 1 Egg
  • 200 gms Mozzarella Cheese sliced
  • 5-6 Chicken Sausages sliced
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 4 Fat garlic cloves finely chopped
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Chilly flakes
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp Oregano
  • Cracked peppercorns for seasoning
  • Salt as per taste

Method :

Preheat oven @180° for 10 mins.

In a mixing bowl add the minced chicken. Next break the egg over it, add the garlic powder, onion powder, garlic, onion, chilly flakes and the herbs. Season with cracked peppercorns and salt. Mix the mixture well until blended well together.

In a baking tray take 1/3 of the mixture and make a loaf like rectangle shape.

Place the chicken sausage slices in the middle and make a layer.

Next place the mozzarella cheese slices over the chicken sausages.

Again place a layer of the chicken sausage and cover the mozzarella cheese.

Take the remaining mixture and cover the top and sides and form a loaf shape. Now randomly place remaining chicken sausages all over the loaf.

Bake @preheated oven for 35 mins.

Remove from oven, top it with your favourite sauce, slice and serve.

Notes : You can use any meat such as turkey, beef, pork or lamb to make this meatloaf. Similarly for the stuffing too where I have used chicken sausage.
