Easy and quick weeknight dinner fix with this Bang bang Shrimp Pasta, is so amazing and perfect to fix something creamy and delicious under 30mins or even less.

If you love the famous Bonefish Grill Bang Bang Shrimp then this dish is going to be your go-to dinner recipe. Shrimp cooked in butter and further tossed in bang bang sauce along with cooked linguine makes this dish so amazing.

You can choose whatever pasta you like for this dish but the final dish will taste the same.

Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta

What goes in this recipe to make bang bang noodles?

  • Shrimp:  Marinated shrimp, cooked in butter.
  • Pasta:   Cook pasta as per package instructions. Any kind of pasta works for this recipe.
  • Sauce:  Mix together mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, sriracha,  lime juice, garlic, and spices.

How to make a Bang Bang Shrimp pasta recipe?

Step1:   Cook Pasta. Cook pasta as per package instructions and toss with some oil and keep aside.


Step2:   Cook shrimp. Marinate shrimp first with salt, garlic, paprika, cayenne pepper. Cook shrimp with butter till the shrimp are golden brown( be careful not to overcook shrimp or they will turn chewy).


Step3:   Prepare Sauce. In a mixing bowl, add mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, sriracha, lime juice, salt, onion powder, black pepper powder, and red pepper flakes.

Step4:   Assemble. In a pan, add pasta, sauce, and cooked shrimp and toss everything well to combine together. 

Garnish with chopped cilantro, parsley, and spring onion greens.

Can I use frozen shrimp for the bang bang shrimp pasta recipe?

Yes! Thaw the frozen shrimp in the refrigerator section before using them in the recipe. Using frozen shrimp will reduce the time to clean the shrimp. Make sure you use deveined frozen shrimp.


Can I reheat bang bang shrimp?

Yes! Just pour the leftover bang bang shrimp with pasta in a microwave-safe bowl and heat it well till the pasta and shrimp are heated well.

  • Cook shrimp till they are not transparent anymore. Overcooking shrimp will make them rubbery.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz/ 200 grams Linguine
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 Tbsp Cilantro, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp Parsley, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp Spring Onion, green, chopped
For Shrimp:
  • 1 Cup Shrimp,medium,cleaned,deveined
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 Garlic, cloves, chopped
  • 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 /2 tsp Paprika
For Sauce:
  • 1/2 Cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/2 Cup Thai Sweet Chili Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Sriracha
  • 2 Garlic, cloves, minced
  • 2 Tbsp Lime Juice
  • 1/2 Tbsp Onion Powder
  • As per need Salt
