Easy Vanilla Oatmeal

Lately, we’ve been obsessed with vanilla non-dairy milk, almond, soy, you name it, we love them all. The smell and the flavor of vanilla in the morning will wake up all your senses. Our new Easy Vanilla Oatmeal recipe will make your day and keep you satisfied for a couple of hours.

Homemade Oatmeal
For this recipe, we used organic non-GMO semi-sweetened soy vanilla milk. For more sweetness add any liquid sweetener like honey, maple syrup etc, it’s optional. We try to avoid very sweet breakfast meals, so we pass on this one. This recipe is 100% vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free.

Vegan Vanilla Oatmeal

INGREDIENTS

  • 7 tablespoons ground rolled oats
  • 8.5 fl oz (250 ml) vanilla non-dairy milk
  • 1 tablespoon flaxseed meal
  • [OPTIONAL] liquid sweetener (honey, maple syrup, etc) – per taste

TOPPING

  • blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon hazelnut butter
  • hemp hearts (per taste)

INSTRUCTIONS

  • In a small size saucepan, add ground oats, flaxseed meal, liquid sweetener of your choice, and vanilla non-dairy milk. Stir everything well and bring to boil. Stir constantly until the mixture starts to thicken or until your desired thickness has been reached. 
  • Transfer the mixture into a small bowl. Add the topping ingredients: hazelnut butter, blueberries, and sprinkle with some hemp hearts.
  • Enjoy your Easy Vanilla Oatmeal breakfast!
