Croissant Breakfast Sandwiches
To make Ham and cheese croissants you need the ingredients on the list below. Put them on your grocery shopping list and have them ready when you start:
- Croissants
- Turkey ham
- Sliced cheese
- Tomatoes
- Onion
- Eggs
- Butter
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper
How To Make Croissant Breakfast Sandwiches
Start with finely dicing the onion and chop the tomatoes. Take a small bowl. Combine eggs, the chopped tomatoes, and onions.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Now preheat a skillet to medium heat and add the butter and olive oil. Add the egg mixture.
Bake it like an omelet but do not overcook it. So let it set, flip the egg and remove it from the heat.
Cut the eggs into four wedges.
Slice the croissants in half. Put the turkey ham on one side and stack the cheese and egg on the other side.
Put the ham side on top of the egg. Preheat oven to 350°F.
Place sandwiches into an oven dish and bake the sandwiches for 15 minutes or until the cheese melts and the croissants are crispy and golden.
If the croissant bakes to fast, cover the oven dish with tin foil to prevent the croissants from burning and turning black.
Can I Make Croissant Breakfast Sandwiches Ahead Of Time?
You can but I would recommend making them when you are ready to serve. The cheese and egg mixture lasts so much better when freshly baked.
Croissants absorb all the oil and butter that you use turning them too soggy sandwiches which is not what you want.
So even though you can make them ahead of time I recommend making them when you want to serve them
