- Flour – these rolls are made with self-rising flour
- Greek yogurt – I use 0% fat Greek yogurt but you can also use 2% or 5% fat
- Cheese – add your favorite shredded cheese like Gouda, mozzarella, or Gruyere
- Butter – unsalted butter this can be regular butter or plant-based butter
- Garlic – you can use garlic powder or finely mince fresh garlic
- Parsley – dried or fresh to sprinkle on top

How To Make Garlic Cheese Rolls
- To make these easy garlic cheese rolls start with the dough. Put self-rising flour and fat-free Greek yogurt in the bowl. Mix with a wooden spoon to combine or put it in a stand mixer and mix at low speed to combine.
- Put the dough on a floured board and knead the dough a couple of times so you can shape it into a ball. If your dough is too sticky add more flour.
- Flatten the dough ball slightly and put the shredded cheese into the middle of the dough. Fold up the dough around the shredded cheese and knead to incorporate the cheese.
- Shape the dough into a ball and cut it into eight wedges. Roll each piece of dough into a ball and place it on a parchment-covered baking sheet.
- Take a small bowl and melt the butter. Add garlic powder or minced garlic, and parsley. Brush the garlic rolls with half of the butter.
- Preheat your oven to 475˚F/245℃ and bake for 10-14 minutes or until golden brown.
- Take the rolls out of the oven and brush the remaining butter mixture on the garlic cheese rolls. Serve immediately.

Yes, you can make them ahead of time. These rolls will stay fresh for a couple of days so you can make them in advance and warm them before serving.
Preheat your oven to 350˚F and warm the rolls for 5 minutes or until warm.
How To Store Garlic Cheese Buns?
You can store these rolls in a couple of ways:
- Room temperature – these rolls taste best when served straight out of the oven or at room temperature. So, if you plan on eating the rolls the same day or the next store them in a ziplock bag and keep them at room temperature. Make certain the rolls are completely cooled before you put them in a bag or airtight container. When they are still warm the rolls will go soft
- Freezer – if you plan on keeping them longer you can put the rolls in the freezer. Use a ziplock bag or freezer-friendly container. Let the rolls cool completely before storing them in the freezer

Ingredients
- 1 cup + 2 tablespoons self-rising flour
- 1 cup fat-free Greek yogurt
- ½ cup shredded cheese like cheddar or mozzarella
