Allie’s Chocolate Brownies

Allie’s Chocolate Brownies recipe is a great cake-like brownie recipe for all you chocoholics out there!

Allie’s Chocolate Brownies

Here’s another awesome recipe from my good friend Tracy’s Grandma – Allie’s Chocolate Brownies. You might recognize the name from Allie’s English Muffin Snacks recipe.

This chocolate brownie recipe is just as good as her English Muffin Snacks recipe. What is fun about this chocolate brownie recipe is that it uses chocolate syrup instead of cocoa powder.

Allie’s Chocolate Brownies

Just like my King Kong Brownies recipe, the brownies are thicker and more cake-like in texture compared to your traditional brownie.

If you prefer a thinner more traditional brownie, check out my Classic Saucepan Chocolate Brownies with Walnuts recipe.

So the bottom line with this chocolate brownie recipe is if you love chocolate cake, you will love this chocolate brownie recipe.

The frosting is obviously optional but I think my wife would kill me if I didn’t include the chocolate frosting. She is, after all a Chocoholic!

These are deleicious. I made them and incorporated vanilla protein powder into them. I added the amount of protein power and then added the rest of the flour. I didn’t want to add the powder in addition to, because I didn’t want them to be too dry. But they turned out fantastic. I pretty much ate them every day until they were gone.
