So, what is Peri-Peri sauce made of? When making this recipe put the following ingredients on your grocery shopping list:

  • Chillies – use red chilies
  • Garlic – fresh garlic
  • Olive oil – to combine the ingredients into a sauce
  • Lemon – you need the lemon juice
  • Cilantro – use dried cilantro

How to make peri-peri sauce

Peri Peri Sauce

Try this Peri-Peri sauce which is a great sauce to use to make Chicken Peri-Peri the national Portuguese chicken dish. Easy to make!

Ingredients

  • 100-grams red chilies chopped (note 1)
  • 2 cloves garlic chopped
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ½ tablespoon dried cilantro
  • ½ tablespoon dried basil
  • ½ tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika you can sub with chili powders
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
