Cheese balls make a fun tasty centerpiece at parties. To make this cheese ball even more festive, it is shaped and decorated to look like a snowman. Perfect to enjoy at your Christmas party as this cute Christmas themed appetizer. The cheese ball can be prepared ahead of time for up to a couple of days in advance. Then on the day that you are ready to serve this cheese ball, roll them in some shredded cheese and decorate as a snowman with a carrot and black olives. Serve with crackers or vegetables.

To make the cheese ball, cream cheese, ranch seasoning mix, bacon bits are creamed together until they are combined. I used bacon bits for this, but you can also cook 3 slices of bacon and crumble it as well. Fold in half of the shredded mozzarella cheese into the mixture. Divide the cream cheese mixture into two balls, making sure that one is slightly bigger than the other. Because it will be the base for the cheese ball. Wrap each ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or for up to 3 days. On the day that you are ready to serve, unwrap the cheese balls and roll each in the remaining shredded mozzarella cheese to fully coat all sides. Place the larger cheese ball onto a plate and place the smaller one on top. Decorate the cheese ball with a small carrot for a nose, and the olives for the eyes, mouth and buttons.
