Spicy shredded buffalo chicken sandwiches all cooked in the crock-pot takes very little prep to make while the crock-pot does all of the work. The chicken is seasoned with ranch seasoning and cooked in a spicy homemade buffalo sauce. The crock-pot cooks the chicken perfectly, it should be tender and you should easily be able to shred it with two forks. Served over hamburger buns with your favorite chips makes the perfect busy weeknight meal.

Chicken is placed into a large crock-pot and seasoned with ranch seasoning mix. To make the homemade buffalo sauce, in a small bowl, mix together melted butter with Frank’s hot sauce, onion powder and garlic powder. Evenly pour the buffalo sauce over the chicken. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours. When the chicken is done, you should be able to easily shred it with two forks.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds chicken
  • 1 ( 5 oz.) packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup Frank's hot sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions
 

  • Place chicken into a greased slow-cooker. Sprinkle with ranch seasoning mix.
  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter with hot sauce, onion powder and garlic powder.
  • Pour the buffalo sauce evenly over the chicken. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high heat for 4-5 hours. Shred chicken with two forks and serve on hamburger buns.
