How To Make Spicy Mayo Without Sriracha
Can you make spicy mayo without Sriracha in case you run out of this sauce, do not have it in your pantry, or can’t buy it in your supermarket?
Yes, you can make spicy mayo without Sriracha sauce. Use one of the following substitutes:
- Sambal Oelek
- Cayenne pepper
- Peri-peri sauce
- Hot chili powder
- Chili paste
- Hot sauce like Franks hot sauce
As the level of spice varies per substitute, I recommend you start with 1 teaspoon, combine, taste, and determine whether you should add more or leave it as is.
If you added too much spice you can add more mayo and lime juice to neutralize the heat.
