How To Make Crispy Onion Rings
Peel the onion and cut the onion through the middle. Then slice the onion into rings about ¼ inch wide and separate the rings.
Soak in cold water for an hour if time allows then dry them with a paper towel.
Preheat a small pot with vegetable oil and heat to 350℉. Fill the pot with max a ⅓ of oil.
Take a bowl and add the flour. Then pour sparkling water into a bowl and stir until you get a thick batter. Season to taste.
Now put the onion rings into the bowl and coat a small batch of onions in the batter. Carefully lower about 3 or 4 rings into the hot oil.
Deep-fry the rings until golden and crips. This will take about 2 to 3 minutes.
Then remove the rings with a slotted spoon and let them drain on a paper towel. Repeat with the remaining onion and batter.

- Air Fryer – you can also reheat frozen onion rings in the Air Fryer. So, there is no need to thaw your onion rings. Just preheat the Air Fryer to 350℉ for 3 minutes and cook the onion rings until hot
- Oven – you can also use your oven to reheat onion rings. Preheat your oven to 375℉. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and put the onion rings on it. Heat for 4 to 5 minutes or until warm. Turn the rings halfway through the reheat time
- Cast-iron skillet – you can also reheat the onion rings in a cast-iron skillet. Preheat the skillet to medium-hot and add a small layer of vegetable oil. Put the onion rings in the skillet for about 1 minute, turn and heat the other side as well
