Easy To Make Garlic Butter Recipe
Have you ever had garlic butter that looks like butter but tastes like a mousse? It looks fine when it is served but as soon as you put your knife into it you know it is not butter.
It sort of disappears when you put it on your bread or what about butter that is not butter but margarine? Such a disappointment.
If I’m going to be hit with calories it should at least be the real thing. So instead of buying what looks like garlic butter, it is so much easier to make it yourself.
It is really easy to make and you decide how much garlic you are going to use.
My father used to say:
“You may smell of garlic the next day but everybody knows you had something good to eat!”
I totally agree. When you make garlic butter you should use the real deal. You can substitute the garlic cloves with garlic powder but it is not the same.
The best thing I learned about garlic is if you want to soften the taste, use a pestle and mortar to crunch your garlic.
You will see the oil release when you pound on the garlic. Continue until you have a soft paste and it will be less strong than finely minced garlic.
