I remember when I was growing up, my grandmother would make fritters whenever she had ripe bananas sitting there. So Banana Fritters was almost a weekly thing in our household. However, when she brought a fresh pumpkin home, I just knew that it was going to be some nice pumpkin fritters in the kitchen.

Despite having to cook the pumpkin beforehand, this recipe is still simple and quick. The pumpkin can be cooked the night before or an hour before you start.

Usually, I would share some TIPS & TRICKS with you guys to ensure that I answer all your questions/doubts before. However, since I already have an exisiting version of this recipe on the blog I’m just going to skip it.

One thing I don’t want to emphasize on is the pumpkin. I copied the way my grandmother would make these and she only used fresh pumpkins. But I know that many grocery stores carry canned pumpkin purée, so if you want to take the easy route then you can use it.
