Delicious Banana Oatmeal Pancakes

Pancakes are one of the most favorite breakfast for most people. We are finally sharing with you our 3-ingredients pancake recipe we’ve been making for such a long time – Banana Oatmeal Pancakes. You’ll be surprised how delicious and soft they are.

In this recipe, we haven’t used any milk or other liquid, just banana, egg, and oats. Pancakes are amazingly filling (but easy for your stomach) and will keep you full for at least 3 hours. The main idea of this recipe was to keep the things simple and create a breakfast meal anyone can make, with the ingredients that most people already have.

These pancakes go perfectly with any kind of fruits. Our choice were bananas, blueberries, and honey. They are also great with some coconut yogurt, maple syrup and some nuts on top. No matter what you use, you’ll enjoy your meal. 🙂




 

 
Banana Oatmeal Pancakes are gluten-free and dairy-free. Great for vegetarians.

Oatmeal Banana Pancakes

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 ripe banana
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1/3 cup (30 g) rolled oats
  • just a little bit of olive oil for greasing the pan

TOPPING Ingredients

  • 1/2 ripe banana
  • blueberries
  • 1 teaspoon of honey

INSTRUCTIONS

  • We used rolled oats, if you have an oat flour it’s even easier. Add ground oats into a food processor (or blender) and blend on high until a nice flour is formed.
  • Add all ingredients into a blender (eggs, banana, ground oats) and blend on high until smooth and creamy.
  • Grease the pan and put it over medium heat. Cook each pancake for about 1 minute, or until the bubbles start to form, then flip it over and cook for another minute.
  • Serve and eat the way you like. We put banana slices, blueberries, and some honey on top.

NOTES

  • We got 4 Banana Oatmeal Pancakes from this mixture. If you are making this for 2 persons just double the ingredients.
