These no sugar added peanut butter banana popsicles are a great treat for kids and a nice way to cool off during the hot summer days - No added sweeteners with a good amount of protein from yogurt and peanut butter.
How to make sugar-free banana peanut butter popsicles
These delicious and healthy treats rely on the natural sweetness of very ripe bananas, eliminating the need for any added sweeteners.
Full-fat yogurt and peanut butter both add creaminess and protein, which helps balance out the natural sugar from the banana.
I find that I tolerate sugar in any form much better when it comes with a side of protein and/or fat!
Can these popsicles be made dairy-free?
You betcha!
Though I like to add in regular, full-fat dairy yogurt, any dairy-free yogurt will suffice.
If you're looking to avoid yogurt altogether, try the same amount of any milk you enjoy. My Homemade Coconut Milk and Homemade Walnut Milk are both delicious options!
Are there any substitutions for the peanut butter?
Any nut or seed butter you enjoy will work here!
I was going for a Butterfinger Blizzard kind of taste with these, hence the banana peanut butter combo, but almond butter or Sunbutter would be great alternatives!
I hope you try this easy recipe this summer!
No Sugar Added Peanut Butter Banana Popsicles
Ingredients
- ½ cup full-fat plain yogurt or milk of your choice
- 2 large very ripe bananas
- ¼ cup peanut butter (I use salted and don't mind the flavor, but if you're sensitive to salt, use an unsalted peanut butter.)

- stevia to taste, optional
Instructions
- Blend all the ingredients until smooth and creamy, adding stevia to taste if you desire extra sweetness.
- Pour into popsicle molds.
- Freeze until solid, at least four hours.
