Cheesy Chicken Wok Recipe

Hello Everyone! As you can see from our previous recipes, we have a lot of pasta dishes to share with you. Now we’ve prepared a delicious Cheesy Chicken Wok Recipe. This is one of those recipes you’ll keep making over and over again! It’s Darko’s personal favorite one. 🙂

Pasta recipes are great because they don’t require a lot of time and are very satisfying. They also give you space to experiment with the ingredients. Besides that, they can be prepared with almost everything, sweet or savory, you name it. Wok Recipe
For this recipe, you’ll need a wok, but not necessarily :). It’s easier to prepare it in a wok. When Darko made this recipe for the first time, I thought that it would be dry. But I was so wrong, this recipe is so juicy from all the vegetables, it’s absolutely amazing.




 

 
Combining cashews, chicken, mushrooms, and cheese maybe sound like too many ingredients, but no! It’s just the right amount of everything. If you are a vegan, we suggest you to use toffy instead of chicken and nutritional yeast instead of cheese. We’ll add soon that version too.

Chicken Wok Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • 10.56 oz (300 g) uncooked spaghetti
  • 8.8 oz (250 g) chicken breast
  • 1 medium size tomato (peeled)
  • 2 red bell peppers chopped
  • 1 onion (purple) chopped
  • 3.5 oz (100 g) mushrooms sliced 
  • 2.6 oz (75 g) raw cashews
  • 1.8 oz (50 g) Gorgonzola
  • 1.8 oz (50 g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1.3 oz (40 ml) black beans soy sauce

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Cook spaghetti pasta: Add fresh water, about 1 liter, in a large pot and bring it to boil. Add pasta. We don’t use salt or oil here. Stir the pasta. Test occasionally. Cook for about 7-10 minutes to be done. When done drain.
  • Meanwhile, chop all the vegetables and slice chicken breast into bite-size pieces.
  • Add olive oil and onion into a wok and cook on medium heat. Saute for a few minutes until onions are translucent. Then add tomato, mushrooms, and peppers. Cook for another 2 minutes and then add chicken breast and soy sauce. Cover the wok and cook for another 5-7 minutes. Add water if necessary. At the end add cashews and stir everything together. Set aside.
  • Strain cooked pasta and add it into a wok, and stir to combine everything. Cook for another 1-2 minutes. When done add Gorgonzola and Parmesan cheese on top.
  • Let it cool a bit and serve. Enjoy your Cheesy Chicken Wok Recipe!
