It has been a long time since we shared with you a smoothie bowl recipe. You already know how much we love them, especially me! 🙂 Now it’s the right time for a perfect wintry smoothie bowl recipe such as Dragon Fruit Reishi Green Smoothie Bowl.

Recently we started researching about medicinal mushrooms and their health benefits. You must be thinking: “Mushrooms in a smoothie? No thanks!” Well, we had the same opinion, but we created the most delicious Dragon Fruit Reishi Green Smoothie Bowl recipe you MUST try!

Reishi mushrooms have so many benefits that cannot be described in just a few sentences. Which is why we decided to dedicate a whole post only to them! Stay tuned until then! But let’s mention one of the main benefits why we started using it: Reishi mushrooms increase immunity. As you can see this is especially important during these cold winter days. It prevents you to get ill. 




 

The way we are using it is by adding one teaspoon of reishi powder to a smoothie at least 3 times per week. If you don’t like the smell of it, this is the perfect way to incorporate it into your meals, it’s completely masked with all the fruits and veggies from the smoothie.

Dragon Fruit Green Smoothie Bowl
Prep time: 2 min   Cook time: 3 min   Total: 5 min   Servings: 1




 

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 banana
  • handful of spinach
  • 1/3 mango
  • 1/4 avocado
  • 2-3 tablespoons rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon reishi powder
  • about 2.4 fl oz (70 ml) nondairy milk (or regular water) – add more if necessary

TOPPING (Optional)

  • dragon fruit
  • cranberries

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Add all smoothie ingredients to a blender. Blend on high until you reach a smooth and creamy consistency.
  • Pour everything into a bowl. Add topping ingredients.
