Even though we love chicken and Beef, I always find room for shrimp because they are MY favorite!  This grilled Shrimp recipe is a winner at our house because my kids love the little sweetness in them. I try to make them very mild because at their young age their taste buds are too sensitive to “spicy food”. Fire up your grill to make this easy to make grilled shrimp recipe.

What kind of Shrimp do you grill

Often times you aren’t sure what type of shrimp to use for your grilled shrimp recipe. There are so many different types of shrimps. Whether you choose to use wild-caught or farm-raised, try to pick the larger shrimps for grilling. Also, go for raw shrimps and not cooked. You can either buy frozen raw shrimps that have already been cleaned and deveined or buy them fresh with shells and clean yourself.

Is it better to grill shrimp with shells on or off?

This decision will come down to your personal preference. If you prefer your shrimps to not be charred and moist on the inside then keep the shells on. I personally do not like to grill with the shells on. It tends to get messy when its time to eat and you would have to peel as you go and the flavors are most stripped off as you peel the shrimps. Grilling without shells would be ideal.
