Sparkling Grapefruit Mocktail (Faux Rosé)

This Sparkling Grapefruit Mocktail is one of the easiest drinks you can mix up! It tastes amazing, is lower sugar, and it’s healthier, too. Our mocktail has a pretty pink color so it looks a bit like rosé wine, but without the alcohol so everyone can enjoy it.

Whenever we have a special occasion like holidays or birthdays in our house, we love to get something special to drink. Usually our favorite sparkling juice so the kids can enjoy a toast with us.

It’s been our tradition for years, and it’s a special treat to enjoy a “fancy” drink on special occasions. We don’t drink a lot of juice or soda in our house, so it’s more of a treat when we do drink it.

In honor of spring and summer and Mother’s Day coming up, I mixed up a beautiful pink Sparkling Grapefruit Mocktail recipe that almost looks like rosé wine! It’s a faux rosé that everyone can enjoy.

I’ve only posted 1 cocktail recipe on the blog so far since I don’t drink very much alcohol due to my IBS, but I have posted several mocktail recipes. They are so fun to mix up and I love being able to share them with my kids!

Our Sparkling Grapefruit Mocktail is lower in sugar than a lot of other mocktails because it’s mixed with Zevia. It has less sugar and less calories, but is full flavor and so pretty!

How to make a sparkling grapefruit mocktail

Our grapefruit mocktail is super easy to make: just 3 ingredients and no alcohol, unless you want to add it! If you’d like this to have alcohol, just add a 1/2 or full shot of grapefruit (or other fruit) flavored vodka.

We mixed our mocktail with 50/50 grapefruit Zevia and Martinelli’s sparkling apple cranberry juice, but you can mix them a little bit differently if you’d like more Zevia or more juice.

For instance, you can do a 40/60 mix of sparkling juice and Zevia for even less sugar and more grapefruit flavor. How you mix this is totally up to you!

We loved the combination of grapefruit Zevia and the sparkling apple cranberry juice, but you can use a different flavor or brand of sparkling juice if you like. We also love the apple peach Martinelli’s sparkling juice, you just won’t get that pretty pink color in the drink since the grapefruit Zevia has no color.

We love Martinelli’s because it’s 100% fruit juice and it always tastes delicious, but you can use other brands of sparkling juice for this recipe, too. Just look for sparkling juice that is 100% juice and is natural, without added colors or preservatives.
