How to Make Perfect Crockpot Green Beans Recipe

I was privileged to have grandparents that raised and grew the majority of what they ate.  It's because of that I developed a deep passionate love for green beans.  The favorite of which was my Grandpa's Sammy's.  For year's I tried to recreate the flavor of those beans and failed miserable until now.

These Crockpot Green Beans have all the great flavor of my grandpa's fresh ones, but a straight off the aisle.  I know you're gonna love it so...

Let's Get Started!

To make these Crockpot Green Beans you will only need a few simple ingredients:

  • 1 lb bag of Frozen Green Beans (I prefer the long thin ones)
  • 1 c Beef Broth
  • 1/2 package of Real Bacon Pieces
  • 1 Tbsp Dried Minced Onion
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Black Pepper

To begin you will place the bag of frozen green beans into your crockpot.

Add the dried minced onion,

real bacon pieces,

salt and pepper,

and finally the beef broth.

Give everything a stir and place the lid on your crockpot.

Turn your crockpot on HIGH for 4-6 hours or LOW for 8-10 hours.

And voila!  you will have PERFECT green beans that will look like they came straight out of the garden.  And the flavor...OH THE FLAVOR!  It takes me right back to being a child eating dinner on the farm.  I like to make a large batch of these Crockpot Green Beans and eat them with several dinner throughout the week or freeze for later.
