What You Need For This Recipe
If you want to make this mango pineapple daiquiri recipe you need a couple of ingredients on your shopping list. Make sure you get the following ingredients:
- Rum – I prefer to make this cocktail with Bacardi rum
- Pineapple – you can use canned pineapple but, if possible, I use fresh pineapple
- Mango – you can use fresh or frozen mango but fresh tastes so much better
- Lemon – use the lemon juice
- Ice cubs
- Water
Note that the full ingredients list, including measurements, can be found in the recipe card below.
How To Make a Mango Daiquiri Cocktail
- When you start with this recipe mango daiquiri cocktail you begin to cut the pineapple. Cut the pineapple into wedges (full length).
- Preserve one of the wedges with the skin still on the pineapple so you can use it for decorative purposes.
- Take one full-length wedge and remove the skin, into a wedge of half an inch thick. You need to peel the pineapple and cut it into wedges.
- That is the hard part of this recipe. Take the ice cubes and put them in the blender. Make sure you have a blender that can crush ice cubes. Otherwise, it can break your blender.
- Crush the ice cubes first. Then add all the ingredients to the blender and whizz it into a thick frozen mango daiquiri cocktail.
- This takes no more than a minute. If the cocktail is too thick you can add a bit of water. If you do not drink alcohol, you can drink this neat.
- Pour into two cocktail glasses. Add a slice of pineapple or mango to decorate your glass and you are ready to serve your cocktail.
Refreshing Daiquiri Cocktail Recipe
You can make this cocktail with all fresh pineapple and mango when they are in season but if you have these fruits in the freezer, you can still make this cocktail.
Because you add the ice cubes and crunch them in the blender you get a smoothie-like consistency. It turns into a creamy type of consistency that tastes great.
