  • Garlic – fresh garlic
  • Ginger – use fresh ginger finely chopped

How To Make Honey Garlic Shrimp

  1. Start this recipe by deveining the shrimp, washing them, and padding them dry. Then heat the skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add coconut oil to the skillet and let it dissolve. You can use olive oil instead of coconut oil. Then it is time to add the shrimp to the skillet.
  3. Cook the shrimp but leave them in the skillet. The shrimp will turn pink. Once they do move the shrimp aside in the skillet so you get a little space in the middle.
  4. Now add the onion to the pan, and quickly pan-fry it before you add the finely chopped ginger. Then add the finely chopped garlic.
  5. Again, stir the onion mixture for a minute. Take out the honey and put it in the skillet then add the soy sauce.
  6. Stir a little and then add a couple of tablespoons of water.
  7. Then stir in the shrimp and let it simmer for about 5 minutes and you are ready to serve.

This honey garlic shrimp recipe is easy and super fast to make. Use a well seasoned skillet that gives it this recipe a great flavor.

Ingredients

  • 200 gram shrimp
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger finely chopped
  • ½ onion finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. Deveining the shrimp, wash and pad them dry.
  2. Heat skillet over medium to high heat. Add coconut oil to the skillet and let it dissolve
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet. Give the shrimp a little time before you pan fry them
  4. Move the shrimp aside in the skillet. Now add the onion to the middle of the skillet. Quickly pan fry it before you add the finely chopped ginger and garlic.
  5. Stir the onion mixture for a minute. Put the honey and soy sauce in the skillet. Stir the shrimp and then add a couple of tablespoons of water
  6. Simmer for 5 minutes and you are ready to serve
