Banana Chocolate Shake

29 Apr

Add a chocolatey twist to banana milk shake. That one tweak does not just adds to the taste of banana chocolate shake, it also makes the nourishing beverage a lot more visually attractive.

After you’ve had banana chocolate shake, I bet you will want to make all your fruit milkshakes chocolatey for the next few weeks. [Speaking from experience here :-)]

Banana Chocolate Shake

You Need:

  • Banana – 1 ripe
  • Milk – 1.5 glasses
  • Chocolate syrup (I use Hershey’s) – 2 tablespoons
  • Ice cubes – 6

[makes 2 glasses]

How To Make Banana Chocolate Shake:

In the food processor, blend the banana with half a glass of chilled milk till fully blended.

Pour into the blender the remaining milk, about 1.5 tablespoons of chocolate syrup, and ice cubes. Blend it all together with the crushed bananas for another minute.

The shake is ready, now for some presentation.

Drizzle 2-3 teaspoons chocolate syrup around the inside surface of each glass. Gently pour the milk shake into the glass, taking care not to disturb the streaks of chocolate on its inner surface.

Serve the drink immediately.

Notes:

Want a little indulgence? Top each glass of milk shake with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream and squeeze extra chocolate syrup over it.

Change measurements as you wish. More syrup => stronger chocolate flavor + a sweeter flavor.

Try other nourishing cold beverages: banana peanut smoothie, mango shake, sattu jaljeera.
