So here’s what to put in the best ever strawberry smoothie for two:
  • lots of delicious sun-kissed fresh strawberries, or you can use frozen
  • green apples – yum
  • fresh orange juice – wonderfully sweet and citrusy
  • fresh lemon juice – adds a bit of zing, which, trust me, you will like
  • bananas – sweetness!  But if you hate bananas you can leave them out, no judgement here

Blitz til smooth, pour into tall glasses, top with a sprig of fresh mint if you have some on hand and sup away.  This smoothie is pretty thick and filling, if you prefer a thinner smoothie just add a dash of water or some more citrus juice.

It’s a little sad when this smoothie is finished.  If you’re anything like us, you’ll be going to sleep looking forward to the morning when you can have another amazing fruit smoothie!

Here’s why this strawberry citrus banana smoothie is so healthy, and why it will give you glowing skin:

Ingredients
  • 2 green apples , peeled and sliced
  • 2 cups strawberries (heaped) , fresh or frozen
  • Juice of 2 large oranges
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 bananas
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients in a blender and blitz until smooth. Add a little water or more citrus juice if you want to thin it down a bit. Pour into two glasses and sup away!

Recipe Notes

If you don’t like bananas you can leave them out, this smoothie will still be thick and tasty.  For one serving, just halve the ingredients.
