Because this recipe is vegan it doesn’t contain any dairy and you only need the following ingredients:

  • Arugula
  • Pine nuts
  • Garlic
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Olive oil

If you love a cheese kind of flavor you can add nutritional yeast that has a cheese-like taste to it. When you do not have nutritional yeast, you can easily do without it because this arugula pesto tastes amazing.

  6. Add between 2 to 4 tablespoons of good-quality olive oil and let your kitchen machine run until all of the ingredients are properly minced.

This arugula pesto. It is vegan and contains only 4 ingredients. A great condiment to use in your dinner recipes but also on bread or pizza.

Ingredients

  • 75-gram arugula
  • 25-gram pine nuts
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 2-4 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Toast the pine nuts in a dry skillet until the pine nuts are slightly brown
  2. Put the arugula, pine nuts and garlic in a kitchen machine
  3. Add salt and pepper to taste
  4. Let the kitchen machine run for a minute
  5. Add 2 tbsp of olive oil and run again for a minute
  6. Add more olive oil if needed
