Best Pickle Recipe

I feel like this is the best pickle recipe when it comes wrapped pickles. Why? Well, I originally posted these baked fried pickles back in 2013. Now I have seen keto fried pickles copying this bacon-wrapped pickle.

Keto Fried Pickles

These wrapped pickles were an original recipe back in 2013 when I first created posted them. People making them keto fried pickles actually is a compliment to me. How can you make them keto fried pickles? Simply do not batter them!

Cooking Tip:

[dropcap custom_class=”normal”] W [/dropcap]hen you deep-fry, hold each piece of food with long tongs as you add it to the oil. Hold it just below the oil’s surface for five seconds before releasing it. This will seal the exterior and stop it from sticking to the pot or the other food. – Source: FoodNetwork

Wrapped Pickles

How these wrapped pickles came about was an inspiration from my GBF. These bacon wrapped appetizers idea came when he suggested stuffing cream cheese into fried pickle spears.

Fried Pickle Spears

There is nothing wrong with fried pickle spears. I just wanted to reinvent fried pickle spears. If we stuffed cream cheese into pickle spears how can we keep them together while they were fried?

Bacon Wrapped Pickle

People use bacon wrapped on everything. So why not make this a bacon wrapped pickle! Bacon does make everything taste better! Plus it would be perfect for this stuffed pickle!

Stuffed Pickles

Orginally, my GBF said to hollow out the pickle to make stuffed pickles. I saw stackers pickles in the store so I simplified the bacon wrapped pickle using stackers pickles instead of hollowing out a pickle.

New Way To Enjoy Fried Pickles

Wrapped Pickles

These wrapped pickles really are a winner. Not only is it a fried pickle recipe, it is a stuffed pickle recipe. Plus it is a bacon wrapped pickle! That sounds like a winning pickle recipe to me!

Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Fried Pickles Recipe

Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Fried Pickles is the best pickle recipe. These fried pickle spears are bacon-wrapped pickles that are baked. These wrapped pickles are amazing for pickle lovers!

Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 5 minutes
Total Time 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 jar of dill pickles (stackers)
  • 1 tub of onion and chive cream cheese
  • 1 lb of bacon
  • 5 tablespoons flour
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. First, you want drain the pickles out the jar, with a paper towel kind of dry them off. Try to get as much of the pickle juice off them. This will help keep the batter on the pickle.
  2. Then spread on some the cream cheese onto half the pickles.
  3. After the cream cheese is on them. Top them with the other half the pickles. Your making a pickle sandwich in a way. Much easier then hollowing out a pickle.
  4. Next, combine the flour, egg, and milk to make a batter.
  5. Coat the pickles as best as you can in the batter. If the pickles still very wet it will slide off. But as long as a little bit on it, it will be ok, do not panic.
  6. Next it will get a bit messy your hands, but want wrap the bacon around the battered pickle sandwich. It takes about 2-3 slices of bacon to get them all nice and wrapped up.
  7. Place the bacon bundle pickles on a parchment lined cookie sheet.
  8. Bake them in a pre heated 350F degree oven. Yes I baked these.
  9. Bake them for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Keep checking on them, I like very crispy bacon, so why bake them as long as I did.
  10. Take out the oven, let cool and then ENJOY!
