You probably go through your fair share of raw veggies on the keto diet. Liven them up with either this keto faux french onion dip recipe or this keto cauliflower dip recipe.

What’s Lurking in Store-Bought Dip

I know, I know. It would be so much easier if you could just go to the store and pick up some dip. And you can – but you should know what’s in there if you’re going to do that.

Not only is that easy dip not keto, it’s just not good for you. It’s super processed, full of chemicals, and devoid of real nutritional value.

You’ll find things like canola oil, sugar, corn and wheat gluten, and MSG. Not surprisingly, my keto version does not contain any of those. On this list, you will find which food ingredients are keto.

Making Keto Dip

Before I lose you, this keto faux french onion dip recipe is not that difficult to make. You really just need 15 minutes – probably as much time as it would take you to go to the store. You can do it!

Instead of all that manufactured nonsense, you’ll use simple ingredients and real food, like onions, garlic, and avocado oil.

I used avocado oil mayonnaise, which thankfully has become easier to find. Just watch how much sugar is in the jar that you buy, or you could always make your own.
