What You Need For This Recipe
This tuna salad contains ingredients everybody has in the fridge or the kitchen pantry. You need the following ingredients:
- Tuna – buy a can of tuna in water and drain
- Mayonaise – to get that creamy salad
- Mustard – adds aroma and flavor to the salad
- Yogurt or quark – adds freshness and flavor
- Small red onion – finely dice
- Pickle – finely dice as well
- Chives – preferably fresh and cut into small slices
- Lemon – juice of a fresh lemon
- Salt and pepper – season to taste

How To Make Low-Carb Tuna Salad
- This is a very easy recipe and does not require a stove or oven. All you need is a bowl and a spoon or fork. Start by chopping the onion, pickle, and chives finely. Drain the can of tuna and put the tuna in a bowl.
- Pull the tuna apart. Then add the finely diced onion, pickle, and chives. Put the mayonnaise, mustard, and yogurt in the bowl as well.
- As yogurt contains less fat and is a little sour you add some freshness to the salad. Now it is time to start combining all the ingredients.
- Just use a fork and stir the ingredients into a salad. To complete sprinkle the lemon juice on the salad. If you like a rustic salad leave the tuna a little chunky, if you stir it through well it will become a very smooth salad.
- You are done and your salad is ready to serve.

Low Carb Tuna Salad
This tuna salad is the best low carb salad made with canned tuna, egg and mayonnaise. Great for lunch, on toast, or a side dish. Try it!
Ingredients
- 1 can of tuna 160 gram
- 1,5 tbsp of mayonaise
- 1 tbsp of mustard
- 1 tbsp yogurt
- Small red onion finely diced
- 1 pickle finely diced
- 2 tbsp chives finely diced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Drain the can of tuna and put the tuna in a bowl. Pull the tuna apart
- Add the diced onion, pickle and chives
- Put the mayonaise, mustard and yogurt in the bowl as well
- Combining all the ingredients together. Just use a fork and stir the ingredients into a salad.
- Sprinkle the lemon juice on the salad
- Serve
