How To Make Mango Galette
It is one of my favorite recipes. The taste of chocolate really enhances the flavor of the mango. So, the more you put on it the sweeter it gets.
Everybody can make a galette. I use a kitchen machine to make the dough but you can easily make it by hand.
You need to knead it through longer if you make the dough by hand.
If you use a kitchen machine, just put the flour, and vegetable butter together and add the sugar, ice cold water, and a pinch of salt.
Mix it with the kitchen machine until you have a flexible dough and let it rest in the refrigerator. Now all you need to do is thinly slice your mango.
Roll the dough and cover with hazelnut spread before decorating with mango.
Now fold the crust and use some almond milk to brush it before you sprinkle it with sugar. In a preheated oven at 400℉ for 35-40 minutes and you are done. Ready to serve!

Why You Should Try This Mango Galette Recipe
I am addicted to this homemade Nutella and as you may have seen I put in on just about everything you can imagine.
This mango recipe is great with an afternoon cup of tea or to serve as a dessert. You will make anybody happy with this recipe.
Especially in summer when there are mangos everywhere. Take a ripe mango because these are ultra sweet without having to add sugar or sweetener.
How To Store Mango Galette
You have several ways to store leftover apple galette:
- Room temperature – if you plan on serving mango galette within 2 days you can store it at room temperature. Just put it in an airtight food container or in a resealable bag
- Refrigerator – you can also store this apple galette in the fridge for up 3 days. Store the galette in an airtight food container so the crust will not dry out
- Freezer – if you want to store it longer, store this mango galette in the freezer. You can wrap it in foil, or plastic wrap, or put it in a freezer-friendly food container and store it for up to 2 months
How To Reheat Mango Galette
When you serve this mango galette tart it tastes better warm. It tastes so much better compared to cold. You have several ways to reheat a galette:
- Oven – preheat the oven to 400℉. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Put the leftover galette on the baking tray and reheat for 5-7 minutes or until warm
- Air Fryer – Preheat the Air Fryer to 375℉ for 3 minutes. Put the leftover mango galette in the Air Fryer and heat for 3-5 minutes
- Microwave – put the galette on a microwave-safe dish and put it in the microwave. Heat the galette for 30 seconds then check to see if the galette is warm. This is the least preferred method as the crust usually goes soft in the microwave
