What You Need For This Recipe
So, if you want to make this recipe with flour tortillas all you need is just 6 ingredients and you get that instant apple pie taste:
- Apple – you can use different types of apples for this recipe like golden rennet or Granny Smith
- Tortillas – you need flour tortillas for this recipe
- Raisins
- Butter – you can use plant-based butter or regular butter
- Sugar – use brown sugar
- Cinnamon – adds that characteristic apple pie flavor

How To Make Tortilla Apple Bites
What is so cute about these apple tortilla bites is obviously that they are small. Even though they do not have a flour crust it immediately tastes like apple pie.
The tortillas do not have a strong flavor and easy take on all the flavors of the apple, sugar, and cinnamon.
- There are several ways to make these apple pie bites. The easiest way is to brush some melted butter on the tortilla.
- Then sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on the tortilla before cutting out three equal circles. Use a coffee cup or cooking ring to cut out the tortilla cups.
- You can also cut a tortilla in half as you can see with the cracking bacon and egg breakfast cups. These breakfast cups will be a little bit bigger but work just as well.
- Put the raisins in a bowl and add warm water. Let the raisins soak up the water for a couple of minutes and then drain.
- Chop the apple into really small pieces. Then you take a muffin pan and push the circles in the muffin pan.
- Add two or three tablespoons of apple and raisins and put them in the tortilla cup. Sprinkle the cups with a little more brown sugar.
- In the meanwhile preheat the oven to 400℉/200℃.
- Then it is time to put them in the oven for 20-25 minutes and let your house be infused with the smell of apple pie.
- Your apple bites are done!
Pro tip:
If you want to prevent the sliced apples from turning brown sprinkle lemon on the apples. The acidity of the juice will help to keep the apples from going brown.

Amazing Apple Tortilla Bites

Ingredients
- 1 apple
- 2 medium size tortilla
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable butter
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons of raisins
Instructions
- Pre heat the oven at 400℉/200℃
- Dice the apple in small parts
- Melt the butter and brush both sides of the tortilla
- Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon on one side of the tortilla
- Cut three circles per tortilla and press these into the muffin pan cinnamon and sugar on the inside
- Add diced apples and raisins into the tortilla cups
- Sprinkle with some brown sugar
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the apple is soft
